Paramedic treatment: solutions to immediate problems. You can implement them quickly to get the situation under control. You will not spend a lot of money. Once you’ve relieved the immediate pain in a few areas, maybe you’ll be in position to start optimizing things using those best practices.
What can you get from the Business Paramedic?
E-books, videos, mini-courses, and links to other sites we think are useful. More or less free. Most are not absolutely, totally free: we do ask for an email address. You won’t be spammed.
Blog: weekly (more or less) observations, thoughts or stories of stuff that really happens to us or people we know about.
Laser consulting: a very affordable program to obtain near-unlimited near-real-time support in resolving organizational challenges. Set up an appointment here to see if we’re a good fit for your challenge.
Is that all? Seems like a bunch of little fixes.
Well, yes, that’s the point.
You can get best practice frameworks and guidance from many consultancies, including our parent company Decision Integration LLC, home of the Simmer System approach to organizational change management. You can get staff extension support (“butts in seats”) from even more companies. They will all help you with intensive assistance over an extended period. It could be very good for your organization – if you can bear the pain (and expense) that long. And it could be a complete waste of time and money. If the organization is too – well, disorganized – for best practices, it will do more harm than good to stuff them down its throat. You wouldn’t be the first to learn this the hard way.
